Impact Wrestling Results (7/4) – Hulk Stops ‘Option C’, New X Champ, Magnus Joins The Mafia

Kurt Angle and Sting come to the ring and Kurt says there are two reasons they are back, and they are so the Aces and Eights are destroyed, and Bully Ray loses his title. Sting says the original Mafia was about World Champions, but sometimes egos clashed so they want to emphasize change. He introduces Samoa Joe, then he comes to the ring and says they run this town again, and he's been a man of his own devices. Joe says he's noticed there's strength in numbers, and he went and got the baddest crew he could find so they can beat the Aces. Joe says he is going to run through the Bound For Glory Series and earn a title shot, then he will choke Bully Ray out and take his title from him.

Kurt says he chose Joe because of the matches they have had before, and he is one of the best opponents he's ever had, so they have a mutual admiration. Kurt says Joe came to him with an idea for the fourth member, and he likes it because this guy is not only the future, but the here and now. Magnus makes his way to the ring and greets them all, then he says he had to think about joining them, but it was for a split second. Magnus says he saw an opportunity and answered the door, and they should look at the BFG Series leaderboard and see what he's about. He says they can ask Kurt, Sting and Joe about him, but it's not just about him, because he signed up so they could all end the Aces' reign for good. Sting says they are challenging the Aces to a fight in two weeks, but tonight they are making sure there is a winner in the main event.
