As we reported earlier this weekend, former Ring of Honor champions Jay and Mark Briscoe attended Saturday's WWE Live event in Ocean City, MD and were seen sitting ringside for the show. Given their recent release from ROH, and rumor that they were seeking a WWE developmental deal, rumor started to swirl surrounding the incident.
PWInsider is now reporting that sources with WWE claim the Briscoes have not signed a deal with the company, and were simply taking Jay's son to the show, which is located near their family's home in Delaware. The feeling internally within Ring of Honor is that both the Briscoes will eventually return if they are not picked up by a bigger company, however Jay and his wife are currently expecting the birth of another child.
