Exclusive: “Fast Count” w/ a Legend – Lex Luger Gives His Thoughts on Johh Cena, CM Punk, Dixie Carter, Randy Savage & More

VINCE McMAHON: “Just a mastermind genius. Treated me with an incredibly – he welcomed me into his own home. He really cares about all the guys, and does all kinds of things that never come out in the press. He plays a character on TV. There may not be a union for the guys, but Vince cares about the guys and does a lot of things anonymously, that he never gets credit for. What I’ve seen him do for that company is just an enormous entertainment conglomeration. Great guy; just a real genius.”

RANDY SAVAGE: “Randy and I were very good friends. He was a great friend; we traveled together, and had a great time working out together, and breaking bread together. Nothing but fond memories of Randy, both in the ring and outside of the ring … When I got into a relationship with Elizabeth, her and Randy had been divorced for so many years. Randy had other girlfriends, and brought girls to TV as valets, and it was long over. No, we never had any words about it, or ill fillings.”

HULK HOGAN: “Probably the greatest ever, as far as what he meant to wrestling. He was always wonderful, except for our initial meeting on Nitro – I talk about that in the book – he was great to me. He had creative control; it was his idea to have that big upset on Nitro live for the world title. That was a wonderful moment for me, and showed a lot of mutual respect and trust for each other. I saw him backstage for Sting’s induction in TNA, and we had a great conversation. We have a great friendship, and I really admire him.”

HIRO MATSUDA: “I wouldn’t have been in wrestling if it weren’t for him. He trained me; he mentored me. He introduced me to wrestling and even went ringside to some of my matches early on to make sure things went well. He had no thought of getting anything out of it for himself. Very selfless; a great family man. A great guy.”
