The Main Event
Daniel Bryan's saga continues, as his feud with Triple H and Randy Orton gets even more interesting. During the beginning of the show, Daniel Bryan talks about being better than a "B+." Triple H compares him to Doink The Clown and other mediocre talents from WWE's past. Orton is so comfortable as a heel over a face. Even though you want to hate him, he is a guy that has the raw talent and look you need in a champion. Daniel Bryan would have to face off against Big Show in the main event.
Stephanie McMahon talked to Big Show in the ring about fighting Daniel Bryan. Even though he has an "iron clad contract" he still has to perform his duties. It was a simple way to get past the lingo from the past. Big Show, as we find out, is financially stricken because of poor investments. Stephanie tries to break down Show, similar to what JBL did to HBK a handful of years ago. I hate this because we all are not that stupid to think Big Show needs money. I just think this is a lazy attempt at trying to make Big Show a critical part of this storyline. Mark Henry's injury came at the worst time. Now, we have to sit and watch them try to put something together to keep Show in the spotlight. I am not in favor of this. Give that rub to someone else. Big Show will always be protected and be safe in his role in the WWE. He does not need this push.
WWE Raw Grade: C+
