TNA Impact Wrestling Results (9/12) – Bully Ray vs Anderson In A Last Man Standing Match, Who Is Bound For Glory?

James Storm and Gunner to the ring and Storm says they got to talking, and he wants to drink some beer, but Gunner is looking for a fight. He says they can actually do both, so they are out here looking for opponents and they don't care who it is. Storm says there are a lot of guys in the back who can step up, then Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez come out and make their claim. Chavo says they are good champions, but he's better, and Hernandez is the strongest guy in TNA today. He says they won the tag team titles at last year's Bound For Glory, and they would win again if they got a title match. Gunner says if they want to throw out challenges he has one for them, and they will fight next week and see what happens. Gunner says if Chavo and Hernandez win they get a title shot, but he's going to bash their heads in if they get in his business again.

AJ Styles vs Magnus

Magnus backs AJ into the corner but AJ comes back with a side headlock, then Magnus counters with a back suplex before applying a side headlock. AJ breaks it and hits the ropes, but Magnus backdrops him and whips him across the ring, only to have AJ drop toe hold him into the turnbuckles. He kicks Magnus and throws him in the corner, then he rams him with his shoulder before Magnus punches him and whips him into the ropes. Magnus kicks him in the face but AJ knocks him down, then he goes for a kneedrop but Magnus rolls away and tries to roll him up. EGO runs out and attacks both men, then a group of referees run out and try to clear the ring and Daniels stomps both men a few more times before leaving with Roode and Kazarian.

We get back from a break to see both men get up and trade punches, then AJ connects with some chops and kicks before going for a springboard forearm. Magnus counters with a midair European uppercut and a scoop slam piledriver, then he goes for a Texas Cloverleaf but AJ counters with a gogoplata. Magnus breaks it but AJ hits a Pele Kick for a near fall, then he sets up a Styles Clash but Magnus shoves him and runs towards the corner. AJ ducks and rolls through into a Calf Killer, but Magnus grabs the ropes so AJ splashes him in the corner and goes for a spin kick. Magnus counters with a side slam for two, then he sets AJ on the turnbuckles but AJ knocks him down and tries to set up a top rope mover. Magnus jumps back up and tries to gain control, but AJ hits several elbow shots to the head and hits Spiral Tap for the win. After the match, AJ says he did what he said he'd do, but he hasn't heard from Dixie Carter at all, so he's giving her a wakeup call because he has something to tell them all next week.
