Rob Van Dam is getting examined by the trainer when Triple H comes to check on him, and the trainer says RVD should be OK and will recover quickly. HHH apologizes for Vickie Guerrero booking him in the gauntlet match, and he says he also wanted him to know he's getting a World Heavyweight Championship rematch at Battleground. RVD nods in approval and the trainer tries to finish his exam, but Alberto Del Rio runs in and attacks him from behind. Alberto throws him into some stage equipment and kicks him in the face, then he slams a camera case off of RVD's back and leaves as some referees check on RVD on the floor.
R-Truth vs Alberto Del Rio
Truth hits Alberto and splashes him in the corner, then he hits a suplex and sets up an axe kick but Alberto counters with a Backstabber for a near fall. Alberto stomps Truth and chokes him on the ropes, then he hits a back suplex for a near fall before applying an elevated chinlock. Truth makes it to his feet but Alberto punches him and taunts him, then Truth slams him on the mat but Alberto comes back with a step up enziguiri for two. Alberto kicks him in the back of the head and goes for the Cross Armbreaker, but Truth shoves him back and hits an axe kick for a close near fall. Truth goes for a suplex but Alberto floats over and kicks his legs, then he connects with a superkick off the ropes and makes him tap out to the Cross Armbreaker.

The Shield vs The Usos & Daniel Bryan
Bryan kicks Rollins and knees him for a near fall, then he ducks a jumping knee and takes Rollins to the mat and puts him in a surfboard stretch. Jey tags in while Bryan has the hold locked in, and he hits a clothesline before Ambrose traps him in the corner and punches him. Jey comes back with a backdrop and tags Jimmy, who hits a clothesline before Ambrose fights him back into the corner. Jimmy makes a comeback and Jey helps him hit a double elbow, then Jey gets thrown into the corner and Reigns stomps him a few times. We get back from a break to see Jey kick Rollins back and tag his brother, then Jimmy hits a Samoan drop and knocks Ambrose off of the apron. Rollins kicks him in the head and tags Reigns, who throws Jimmy in the corner before they take turns attacking him.
After several minutes of being isolated, Jimmy makes a comeback by knocking Reigns down and punching Rollins and Ambrose on the apron. Rollins tags in but Jimmy stops him with an atomic drop, then Ambrose runs in but Jimmy rolls through and makes a tag. Bryan kicks him in the corner and clotheslines him, then he connects with two corner dropkicks and several kicks. Bryan takes him up top and hits a hurricanrana for two, but Reigns breaks up the pin so Jimmy sends him outside and Jey hits a suicide dive. Rollins runs across the ring and dives on all of them, then Jimmy springboards back onto them as Ambrose hits Bryan from behind. Bryan comes back with a YES Lock attempt, then Ambrose grabs the ropes and the ref calls for a break before checking on Bryan in the corner. The Usos hit Ambrose with simultaneous superkicks on the ropes, then Bryan hits Ambrose with a running knee strike and makes the cover.
