9/30 WWE Raw Sees Big Numbers Drop Before Battleground

This week's episode of Monday Night Raw only brought in an average of 3.58 million viewers, and was the lowest non-holiday episode since December 3rd, 2012. Raw did hours of 3.61, 3.53 and 3.62 with the final hour once again showing the best numbers for WWE's flagship program.

This is definitely not good news for Sunday's Battleground pay-per-view, which already has the misfortune of being the first of two pay-per-view events for the WWE this October. The final rating should fall somewhere between a 2.6 and 2.7 according to the Wrestling Observer. While the NFL didn't gain any new viewers from Monday Night Football this week, their numbers managed to stay consistent; just under 14 million people tuned in to see the New Orleans Saints and the Miami Dolphins.
