TNA Offering Free Tickets to Impact Wrestling for Federal Employees During Government Shutdown

TNA is offering free tickets to Impact Wrestling for all federal employees and military personnel when the company comes to Tulsa, OK this Thursday, October 10th. The following is from an article on ImpactWrestling.com:

WHAT: TNA Entertainment is offering all U.S. federal employees and military personnel one complimentary ticket to the Thur., Oct. 10, globally televised IMPACT WRESTLING LIVE! event taking place in Tulsa at the Cox Business Center Arena.

HOW: TNA invites federal employees and military personnel to present an active government or military I.D. at BOK Center Box Office now through Oct. 10, and the Cox Business Center Arena Box Office the night of the show, to receive one free ticket.

TNA's motivations for this free ticket give away are likely twofold. First, given the current government shutdown in the United States, this is a good PR move right before their biggest annual pay-per-view, and might help rebound the company's image following this summer's many releases. Secondly, this Thursday's is the last taping event for Impact Wrestling before Bound for Glory, and TNA will want to have as big a crowd as possible to hype up the pay-per-view on October 20th.
