WWE.com has posted a new interview with Michael Cole speaking to Triple H, and the following are highlights from the interview, which you can check out at this link:
Triple H noted that he was tight on time, and the interview will continue on Smackdown this week.
As far as HBK goes, HHH said his relationship with Shawn Michaels goes beyond the ring, and there is no strain on their personal relationship due to what has happened on TV over the course of the last few weeks. He went on to say that he and HBK talk family, personal lives and more and the things Shawn said on Raw this week did not bother him as HHH has a tremendous responsibility that Shawn doesn't necessarily understand as he's the COO of a major company.
Triple H went "on the record" as saying Daniel Bryan is "exceptional" in the ring, maybe great, and that he wasn't putting anyone down on Raw Monday night, he just feels the names he mentioned, including Daniel Bryan, are not the faces of WWE. And he challenges Bryan to prove him wrong if he thinks he's better than a B+ player in WWE.
HHH closed by saying he knows HBK will do the right thing Sunday night at Hell in a Cell, and that Michaels is the best man for the referee job, and will 100% do what's best for business at the PPV. HHH wants it proved to him once and for all who is the true face of WWE, and all Daniel Bryan has to do is enter the Hell in a Cell structure against Randy Orton on Sunday night and prove HHH wrong.
