Is Rey Mysterio Already Injured? Highlights from New “History of WWE” DVD

Rey Mysterio returnMysterio Injured….Again?

There are several unconfirmed reports circulating through the rumor mill at the moment, stating that former world champion and newly returned WWE Superstar Rey Mysterio may already be injured. Mysterio made his return on last night's WWE Raw, coming to the aid of Daniel Bryan, CM Punk and a slew of other top babyfaces. He has been officially added to the 5-on-5 Survivor Series match this Sunday, alongside Cody Rhodes, Goldust and the Usos.

As of right now, no reputable source has confirmed the legitamacy of these rumors, although a Wrestlezone reader sent in word from last night's Raw stating that Mysterio "seemed to be limping a bit" after the match. The Wrestling Observer backs up at least that much, as we reported earlier. It's not out of the question to assume Rey could be less than 100% following several surgeries and a long road to recovery this year. However, at this time, the severity of his potential injury is unknown, and all stories claiming he may be removed from Survivor Series are merely speculatory.
