The American Wolves Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards worked a tag team match against NXT Tag Team Champions, The Ascension, during tonight's NXT television taping at Full Sail University in Winter Park, FL. The former Ring of Honor tag team champions wrestled as "The American Bulldogs", losing the match.
As we reported earlier, Davey and Eddie have not received contracts to work with WWE at this point. However, it is believed that William Regal has been pushing hard backstage for Triple H to give the Wolves another shot, potentially leading to a short-term deal.
