Triple H and CM Punk Headed for a New Rivalry in WWE?
Tom Clark of The Layfield Report has published a new blog taking a look at what could be a big rivalry in WWE pitting CM Punk against Triple H. The following is a blog excerpt, and you can check it out in its entirety by clicking here:
CM Punk and Triple H crossed paths on the December 9 edition of WWE Monday Night Raw. The altercation came during the championship belt ascension at the end of the program, when the spot became physical between John Cena and Randy Orton.
Daniel Bryan, Big Show, Cody and Dustin Rhodes, all of these men have suffered the wrath of The Authority. In each case, Triple H has used underhanded tactics to get what he wants and in every instance those tactics involved The Shield interfering on his behalf.
And now we are seeing the beginning of CM Punk and Triple H's new rivalry. The last time this happened, the two men had a match to settle their differences. Will that be the case this time?
Konnan Disses TNA Star on Twitter
Konnan recently had choice words for up and coming TNA star Ethan Carter III. The two men are among 4 people nominated for Guest of the Year on the "Asked with Riv and Landin" podcast, which caused the brief verbal exchange. When asked who should win, Carter responded with the following:
@EthanCarterTNA: @AskedCSTC me or @angelinamtvjs no contest
This prompted Konnan to respond and take a shot at Carter for snubbing him:
@Konnan5150: @EthanCarterTNA @AskedCSTC @angelinamtvjs Calm down jaybrone, u couldnt be a star if u were thrown by a Ninja.#BOOM
