More Backstage News on WWE Creative Plans for Batista

stingPWInsider.com has confirmed earlier speculation that the most discussed creative plan for Batista's return to WWE is to have him face Randy Orton for the WWE World Title at WrestleMania 30.

It's not confirmed how the story line will evolve, but one possibility has been to have Batista return to WWE prior to the Royal Rumble PPV, have him win the 2014 Rumble match, then go on to face Randy Orton at WrestleMania 30 for the WWE World Title.

As we noted before, the new deal Batista signed with WWE will reportedly see him work dates up to WrestleMania 30 and beyond, so a Batista title run following 'Mania could be a possibility as it doesn't seem likely he will leave the company after the PPV.

There has also been talk of having Batista face The Undertaker at the big PPV, in a WrestleMania 23 rematch.

TNA Adds Sting to Upcoming Live Events

TNA has added Sting to the January 10th live event in Bristol, Tennessee and the January 11th live event in McMinnville, Tennessee.
