WWE Taping Smackdown This Weekend, Big Show Not on 12/30 Raw Despite Promo?, Full Details on This Week’s WWE Live Events

wwe live eventWWE will be taping next week's edition of Smackdown this Sunday at The Verizon Center in Washington, DC. The arena website is listing CM Punk vs The Shield in a Handicap match and is also advertising Triple H, Mark Henry, The Wyatt Family and Daniel Bryan for the taping.

In related news, WWE kicks off its holiday tour tomorrow night, with the following events and talent scheduled:

-Events being headlined by John Cena vs Randy Orton take place at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY, tomorrow night, followed by events on Friday at the XL Center in Hartford, CT, Saturday at the Prudential Center in Newark, NJ, and Sunday at the GIANT Center in Hershey, PA, and Monday at The Richoh Coliseum in Toronto.

Interestingly, Big Show is being advertised for the Cena/Orton headlined shows, but was also featured in the "diaper" promo video for Raw this Monday night, which goes head-to-head with the house show event in Toronto. If the advertisements are in fact accurate, this would mean Randy Orton, John Cena, Big Show, Kane, Alberto Del Rio, Ryback, Sin Cara, and more will not be appearing on Raw next week nor will they appear at the Smackdown taping Sunday night.

The other leg of WWE's holiday tour, which also begins tomorrow, is headlined by CM Punk facing The Shield in a handicap match, and Daniel Bryan facing Bray Wyatt in a steel cage. The rest of the events are on Friday at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, IN, Saturday at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, MI and Sunday's SmackDown taping at Verizon Center in Washington DC.
