WWE RAW Results (12/30) – Brock Returns, Daniel Bryan Joins The Wyatt Family?

Brad Maddox is talking to a referee about the Intercontinental Championship match, then The Authority walk in and Maddox talks about taking a next step. Daniel Bryan walks in and says he wants a shot at Bray Wyatt before the year is over, so Maddox says he needs to earn it first. He tells Bryan he can face Harper first, and Rowan if he wins that, and if he's lucky to get that far, he can face Wyatt after that. Bryan says OK and leaves, then Stephanie tells them to watch her announce the Royal Rumble main event right now. She walks onto the stage and says they had a great year and wouldn't change anything, so she wants to celebrate their WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Randy Orton. After a career highlight video clip, Stephanie announces Orton will defend his championship in a one-on-one traditional singles title match against John Cena.

Curtis Axel vs Dolph Ziggler

Dolph dropkicks Axel but Axel whips him out of the ring, then he brings him back in and applies a side headlock but Dolph breaks it and sends him into the corner. Dolph splashes him and hits some mounted punches, then he hits a neckbreaker and a crossbody for a near fall. He goes for a Zig Zag but Axel counters with a rollup for two, then he hits a neckbreaker for another near fall before Dolph hits a Zig Zag out of nowhere for a near fall.

Winner – Dolph Ziggler

Intercontinental Championship

Fandango (w/ Summer Rae) vs Big E Langston (c)

Langston applies a waistlock and throws Fandango on the mat, then they lock up but Langston tackles Fandango in the corner and goes for a scoop slam. Fandango floats over and bails outside, then Langston goes after him but Fandango stomps him a few times and attacks Langston's knee. Fandango puts him in an inverted Figure Four but Langston breaks it, then he hits the ropes but Fandango tackles him outside as we go to a break. We get back to see Fandango punch Langston in the corner, then he hits a short clothesline before Langston throws him on the apron and suplexes him back in. Langston goes for a splash but Fandango kicks his knees, then he follows with a tornado DDT and a top rope legdrop, but Langston rolls outside to avoid the pin. Fandango kicks him and rolls him back in, but Langston hits a belly-to-belly and a running splash, followed by the Big Ending for the win.
