Legendary Pro Wrestling Booker George Scott Passes Away at Age 85

george scottAccording to PWInsider.com, legendary pro wrestling booker George Scott passed away yesterday at the age of 85.

Scott was well known for booking Mid-Atlantic Wrestling, WWE in the mid-1980s, WCW in the late-1980s and World Class Championship Wrestling. Scott also wrestled during his long tenure in the wrestling business, wrestling for Stampede Wrestling, the Carolinas and what was the pre-cursor to World Class in the 1950s & 1960s.

Scott retired from the wrestling business after his run as booker of WCW in 1989.
