CM Punk Missing Weekend WWE Live Events, Former Superstar Wants to Join Jeff Jarrett’s Rumored Promotion

CM Punk Missing Weekend Events

wwe tribute to the troopsCM Punk will be missing this week's WWE live events in Pennsylvania and Ohio as he has a busy weekend ahead of him. Tonight Punk will be in attendance at the LA Kings vs. Anaheim Ducks NHL game in Los Angeles, CA. From there he flies up to Portland, OR for Friday's Wizard World comic-con event, where the former WWE Champion will be doing a Q&A session as well as signing autographs. Punk also mentioned on Twitter that he will be attending the UFC on Fox event this Saturday, live from the United Center in Chicago, IL. All that before making the trip to Pittsburgh, PA for WWE's Royal Rumble pay-per-view this Sunday in Pittsburgh, PA.

Punk has been working all three members of The Shield for the last month of WWE live shows, and with Daniel Bryan taking time away from the ring this week to heal a concussion, it will be interesting to see what WWE does with their live events.

Former Superstar Working w/ Double J?

Former WWE Superstar Trevor Murdoch (real name: William Mueller) recently appeared on The Undisputed Wrestling Show, and mentioned that he would like to work with Jeff Jarrett on his new promotion if and when it should make its debut. Murdoch is a former three-time WWE tag team champion, working alongside the deceased Lance Cade, and may have bumped into Jeff Jarrett backstage while working briefly for TNA Wrestling and their Ring Ka King promotion in India.
