As we previously reported, former WWE Superstar MVP was revealed as the big "TNA mystery investor" on the latest episode of Impact Wrestling. MVP came out to the ring to end this week's show, revealing himself as the investor and standing with Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards, The Wolves.
During next week's Impact Wrestling taping, the former United States Champion came out and was introduced as "MVP", so it looks like he will continue to use that name going forward. Also, it appears that his role as investor has given him match-making power, as he immediately booked a match between Kurt Angle and TNA World Heavyweight Champion Magnus.
It is assumed by most that MVP will eventually work for TNA in a wrestling role, but for now it looks like he will be another authority figure to counter Dixie Carter. Two weeks ago he "signed" the Wolves to new TNA contracts without the knowledge of Dixie, so it would appear that the TNA Investor has some power going forward.
