WWE Announcer Gets Nominated

WWE Scott Stanford noted on his Twitter account that he has been nominated for Best Sports Anchor Emmy Award. He is still employed at WWE, but also works for WPIX in New York, which is an affiliate for NBC.

Cena Kept off Raw

As noted earlier this week, John Cena's eye was very swollen due to it being scratched in a match with Randy Orton at a live show this past weekend. PWInsider.com is reporting that John Cena was kept off of television this week so he would not look bad on camera.

Furthermore, John Cena did not suffer any damage to his cornea, which was a concern earlier in the week. WWE wanted to keep him off so they would'nt have to address the injury or focus the camera on his eye at all. As we reported last night, Randy Orton vs John Cena has been announced for Raw next week, so the injury is definitely not serious.

Josh controls most of the creative writing and ideas for the show on a weekly basis, as well as an on-air talent.
