WWE's merchandise department was told not to come up with any new products that only contain The Rock on them, reports The Wrestling Observer. They are still able to use The Rock in group shots when necessary, but they do not want any individual products made.
They were told that 2015 is the earliest The Rock would return to WWE, should he ever decide to come back. He is not expected to be at WrestleMania XXX in New Orleans, but has not ruled out WrestleMania 31.
The Rock has publicly stated that he doesn't see himself being at Mania this year, but that another return in the future is not out of the question.
Sting Contract Nearly Finished
While Sting had to officially sign with WWE as of this past weekened, The Observer is also reporting that his contract is currently being worked on and is nearly finished. Right now, it's being said they are working on the merchandising part of the deal.
As numerous reports have said, Sting is not expected to be used at WrestleMania 30 this year. While plans can always change, WWE will most likely use Sting's debut in WWE to boost up WrestleMania 31 next year in California.
