Reasoning Behind WWE Not Talking About CM Punk, Colt Cabana Denies Report of Fan Talking To Him

cm punk PWInsider.com is reporting that there are a few reasons as to why WWE is not talking about the departure of CM Punk on the air. One of those reasons being that Vince McMahon personally likes Punk and he wants to try and work things out with one of his top selling superstars. Another reason is that they have plenty of money invested in the former champion in marketing ads and merchandising in stores. They want to protect his name until his contract runs out in July.

If both sides cannot come to a new agreement, WWE will potentially not even mention Punk until his contract runs out officially. As for CM Punk, a fan in India sent Wrestlezone and other websites tweets and emails about him talking to Colt Cabana, Punk's friend. Colt Cabana denied reports of talking to the fan on Twitter.
