WWE has officially announced the guest host for WrestleMania XXX – Hulk Hogan is coming home to WWE. They have announced Hogan for this week’s Monday Night Raw, and the new WWE Network exclusive show WWE Raw Backstage Pass.
“WWE Hall of Famer Hulk Hogan has returned to WWE and will host WrestleMania 30 on Sunday, April 6, at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans. Hogan will make his long-awaited return to WWE on Monday’s Raw. He will also appear on WWE Raw Backstage Pass, airing live on WWE Network immediately following Raw.”
Several sites including Wrestlezone have been reporting Hulk Hogan for WrestleMania, and for this week’s Monday Night Raw. WWE was likely pushed forward because of the latest TMZ article that essentially broke the news for them.
His role will likely be similar to that of Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, who hosted WrestleMania 27 a few years ago, prior to making his return to the ring in late 2011. Hogan’s WrestleMania I match is rumored to be inducted into the Hall of Fame this year as well.
