Daniel Bryan occupied Raw this past Monday night, the Undertaker appeared and Hulk Hogan made a WrestleMania announcement, but much of the social media chatter surrounding this week's show was actually discussing Jerry Lawler's rather "unique" shirt.
The WWE Hall of Famer took to Twitter after Raw to explain his apparel, and it turns out he was paying tribute to another "King" and Memphis legend.
My Raw shirt tonight in Memphis was a tribute to Elvis & his gold lame' suit. From the Graceland gift shop! pic.twitter.com/nuX4aDuhAR
New TNA Wrestling star MVP commented on his Lockdown PPV match in Miami, the former US Champion's hometown.
MVP took part in a Lethal Lockdown 8-man tag team match, where he led Davey Richards, Eddie Edwards and a returning Jeff Hardy (dressed as Willow) to victory against Bobby Roode, Jessie Godderz, Robbie E and Austin Aries. Control "wrestling operations" was on the line, with TNA President Dixie Carter and investor MVP both putting up their board-appointed creative control.
