WWE Lands New Television Deal, This Week’s Ring of Honor TV Preview

New WWE TV Deal

WWE UK tourWWE has struck a new deal with CCN-TV6 to broadcast their programming in Trinidad and Tobago. The following is the official announcement from TrinidadExpress.com:

THE SUPERSTARS of WWE wrestling, John Cena, Randy Orton, Alberto Del Rio, Daniel Bryan and The Bellas, have moved to CCN-TV6. Under an agreement with the programme’s international producers, CCN-TV6 will exclusively air WWE programming to viewers across Trinidad and Tobago, beginning on March 16. TV6 will broadcast Monday Night Raw, WWE Smack Down and WWE Main Event. WWE Raw has been the longest running weekly episodic programmes and is consistently among the most-watched, regularly scheduled entertainment programs on cable television. The addition of WWE programming is expected to enhance CCN-TV6’s rapid growth to its number one position, which has been attributed to strong Prime Time programming, anchored by the one hour TV6 News nightly at seven o’clock. TV6 has topped the share of the national viewing audience in 15 surveys conducted over the last four years. TV6 has invested heavily in sports and the local entertainment industry, while the in-house production team handles world class soccer events for ESPN on a fairly regular basis.
