3/18 WWE Main Event Results: The Undertaker Comes to Tuesday Nights, Real Americans vs. Rhodes Brothers, Layla Returns & More

[…Cont]

After the break, Cesaro powers through Goldust with a massive shoulder block. The Real Americans alternate in with quick tags, keepng Goldust totally isolated. Swagger locks in a bear hug but ends up getting clocked with a big left hook. Goldust tries to make the hot tag, but Cesaro knocks Cody off the apron. When he finally comes to, there's nobody to tag in the corner. Goldust tags ten rotations on the Cesaro Swing, but Cody saves the match just in time.

Goldust fights back out of the heel corner, tossing them both to the floor. Finally Rhodes gets the hot tag, hitting a sunset flip on Swagger for a close two. Drop-down uppercut lands, and Cody brings in Cesaro just for fun. He hits a douple dropkick off the ropes, followed by a split-leg kick, shades of Bob Holly. Rhodes with a moonsault off the top for two on Swagger, as Zeb Colter is freaking out on the apron.

Cody tries for the Disaster Kick, but gets caught in the Patriot Lock. Cesaro pulls back the bottom rope, but Swagger clotheslines him to the floor. Rhodes rolls through the hold and hits Cross Rhodes on Swagger for the 1-2-3.

Winners: Cody Rhodes & Goldust

Mike's Thoughts: A pretty solid tag team match, but one we've seen probably half a dozen times already. Nothing really groundbreaking here. The Real Americans didn't have any major issues getting on the same page – they just got beat. A 4-way match was announced for either Smackdown or Raw to determine new contenders, so I expect the drama to build between the two heading into WrestleMania.
