Xavier Woods vs. Tyler Breeze
They lock up in the middle of the ring with Woods transitioning into a pretty headscissors takedown. Breeze shoots him across the ring with an Irish whip, but Xavier catches him and slingshots Breeze into the top turnbuckle. Woods with a sweeping takedown followed by a massive enzuigiri for a close two-count. Woods sets up for his finisher, but Breeze hits him with the Beauty Shot (spinning wheel kick) for the win.
Winner: Tyler Breeze
Killam: These two can actually go, so I was hoping for more of a real match here. At least the commentary team did a decent job playing up Breeze's gimmick throughout. Once again NXT booked too much for a one-hour show, so I don't expect much from anything but the main event.
