WWE StudiosAccording to Flixter, Rotten Tomatoes gave the WWE Studios produced film "Oculus" a 71%, and some critics have voiced their opinions.

Adam Nayman from Globe and Mail gave it a negative review saying "A deeply silly and mildly effective horror movie about two young-adult siblings coping with the mysterious deaths of their parents."

Stephen Whitty from Newark Star-Ledger also gave it a negative review saying "It's just a vague, a little familiar, a little fake."

However James Berardinelli from ReelViews gave it a positive review saying "For a horror movie, Oculus is surprisingly lean on the scares. It's more interested in playing tricks with perception and bending reality."
