According to the most recent edition of The Wrestling Observer Radio hosted by Dave Meltzer, Daniel Bryan's current injury should not have any effect on long term plans WWE has had for him. Bryan is still scheduled to be in the WWE World Title picture once he is healthy enough to compete, and "the long term destination is still what the old destination was."
It's being said, however, that if Bryan is not healthy enough to compete by SummerSlam, then plans might have to change. Bryan is currently being groomed for a feud with Brock Lesnar down the line, and as of yesterday, plans call for him to be the champion later this year pending his health.
Backstage Raw News on Cena's Injury
According to F4WOnline.com, WWE cameras were instructed to shoot John Cena from a distance last night, in order to down play his injured eye, which was still swollen as of Raw last night, but not nearly as bad as it was on Sunday.
This is not the first time Cena has suffered some type of facial injury and WWE cameras were told to do their best to hide it from the TV audience.
