MVP Talks His TNA Slammiversary Status

tna slammiversaryInjured TNA star MVP, who is scheduled to face Eric Young for the TNA World Title at Slammiversary, recently appeared on Chris Jericho's Talk is Jericho podcast, and he spoke on his injury status.

MVP said despite his knee injury he is doing everything he can to wrestle Young for the title at Slammiversary.

MVP then revealed he did not go in for an MRI as originally planned, as doctors told him surgery could wait until he tested out the condition of his knee in the ring. MVP has since begun putting weight back on his knee, and he's hoping he will be good to go by Sunday.

MVP also noted TNA officials are working on a "Plan B" for Slammiversary should he not be able to compete.

How Many MITB Participants Will There Be?

WWE confirmed during last night's Smackdown tapings that there will be 7 participants in this year's Money in the Bank ladder match for the vacant WWE World Title.

4 names, including Randy Orton, Sheamus, Cesaro and Alberto Del Rio, have already been confirmed for the bout, with another name to be announced on Smackdown this week. This leaves two spots open for the match.
