WWE Merchandise Sales On The Rise, Latest On The Funkadactyls Splitting Up

wwe merchandiseWWE Merchandise Sales Rising

WWE's merchandise sales have been doing very well lately, comparatively speaking. According to a new report in The Wrestling Observer, WWEShop.com's daily orders have increased from 867 per day to over 1,200.

While the direct reason for this spike in merchandise sales is unknown, it could be simply due to WWE's website traffic increasing, in general. WWE.com's traffic has increased 74% over the course of the last year, a direct result of the WWE Network launching.

John Cena is still the top seller at live events with Daniel Bryan as a close second.  CM Punk merchandise is still selling a ton online. Goldust and sheep masks are selling extremely well right now also.

The Funkadactyls Splitting Soon

It's expected The Funkadactyls will be splitting up soon as WWE has already began to tease it on television. The Wrestling Observer is reporting that the break-up could even happen as early as Money in the Bank later this month.

Originally, WWE officials wanted Cameron and Naomi to split up on the second season of Total Divas, but for some reason, it was held off. It will now play out on the third season of the E! reality show, which began filming at the June 16 edition of WWE Raw.

Cameron is expected to be the "heel" out of the two once the split does take place.
