New Japan Pro Wrestling put on their annual Dominion show in Osaka this weekend, with some big news coming out of the event.

Most importantly, former TNA star Alex Shelly and his partner Kushida defeated the Young Bucks to become the new IWGP Jr. Heavyweight Tag Team Championships in the opening contest, which is one of the two matches in contention for "match of the year" to come out of Dominion. In the main event, Bullet Club got their win back as Bad Luck Fale defeated Shinsuke Nakamura to become the new IWGP Intercontinental Champion.

The brackets for the 2014 G1 Climax tournament were also announced, as were five Ring of Honor stars for the finale in August – Adam Cole, ReDRagon, Michael Bennett and Maria Kanellis. Jeff Jarrett will also be there scouting talent for his GFW promotion.

The 2014 Best of the Super Juniors winner, Ricochet, used his #1 contenders spot to face Kota Ibushi for the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship, but came up short in an incredible match.
