wweAdam Rose Backstage Update

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that while Adam Rose did work this week’s Superstars and Smackdown tapings, it’s being seen as a bad sign that he wasn’t featured on RAW.

People still continue to talk about how WWE producer Kevin Dunn does not like the Rose gimmick, and things aren’t looking good for him.

In a conflicting report, PWInsider is reporting that Rose will remain in good standing since Santino Marella is now retiring from in-ring competition. The report says Rose will now fill in for the lower/midcard comedic role for the forseeable future.

Seth Rollins Interview

WWE Superstar Seth Rollins recently sat down with the Fayetteville Observer to promote an upcoming Smackdown taping on July 15th at the Crown Coliseum.

Rollins talked about several topics, including the inspiration for his ring name, his advice for aspiring wrestler, and more. You can read a few excerpts from the article below:

Rollins on where he got his stage name:

Rollins: Seth Rollins is a little bit of an ode to an idol of mine, Henry Rollins. He’s the leader of one of my favorite bands, Black Flag. Seth is just a name that I liked.

Rollins’ advice for aspiring wrestlers:

Rollins: Follow your dreams and work hard. There’s no replacement for hard work, and that’s true for any field. If you work hard at it, you’re going to see the fruits of your labor, I guarantee it.

Rollins on what the future will bring him:

Rollins: During the next couple of years, I plan on being even better than this year, which is saying a lot, because 2014 has been the best year of my career. I just want to be the man.
