TNA Live Event Results

7/11/14

Jamestown, NY

They are still using the 4 sided ring. Sad to see no JB in attendance tonight, the man truly bleeds TNA. Of all people, Rockstar Spud, in a suit only Don Cherry would be proud of, was anointed the ring announcer through an “email” from Dixie Carter.

TNA World Tag Team Champions The American Wolves def Bromans in 9 minutes when Davey Richards tombstoned Robbie E. Good opener, lots of playful jabbing at the audience about back stage passes, mixed with good stiff Wolves wrestling.

TNA Knockouts Champion Gail Kim def Angelina Love with Eat DaFeet in 7 min.

Mr. Anderson…Anderson def Samuel Shaw in 9 min. with the Mic Check. More of a gimmick than a match, Shaw, in street clothes, came out to “apologize” to Ken, faked a hamstring injury for way too long, then eventually got squashed. Apparently there’s nothing better for TNA’s resident asshole.

Samoa Joe over Gunner in another 7 minute contest. Show of honor between the two after to applause.

20 minute Intermission. Earl Hebner’s still selling and signing the “Damn Right I Did” shirts.

TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bobby Lashley def. Eric Young with a spear out of nowhere at 9 min.

Main event, a Tables Match

Bully Ray vs. Ethan Carter III. Bully ended up winning in about 7 min. by putting Rockstar Spud, who inserted himself into the match, through a table.

As always, a decent house show from TNA, though really short in terms of length of matches and overall for the show. In and out in just over two hours. For a company that regularly runs 4 hour tv tapings, even one long match would’ve been nice.

Nice little hockey arena in Jamestown, maybe holds about 2,500. Wouldn’t be a bad place for them to hold TV. I’m horrible with guessing attendance, but I’d say 700 people there. The floor seats were 90% filled, and a few sections of seats.

I drove down from Buffalo (about an hour and a half). TNA puts on fun shows, but their advertising is the worst. If I hadn’t actually gone onto www.impactwrestling.com I would’ve never known there was a show within driving distance.
