WWE MSG Results

7/12/14

Great show tonight and was surprisingly longer than most house shows, just over 3 hours.

Some quick notes on the show, Chris Jericho did not have his highlight reel like WWE advertised and Mark Henry returned to WWE but did not wrestle as he was only part of the 20 man lumberjack main event.

The show started off with R-Truth vs Rusev. Lana cut a promo about how USA sucks and I was probably the only one cheering her and Rusev. Fairly decent match, Rusev picked up the win, after the match Jack Swagger came out and attacked Rusev. Zeb Colter cut a promo on Lana and a match between Rusev came about, 15 seconds into the match Rusev one after kicking Jack Swagger after he turned around. Swagger must have pissed on Vince’s car or something.

Nikki Bella and Natalya vs Sasha Banks and Charlotte followed. Nothing much to say here, pretty good divas match, the crowd was HOT for Nikki. Natalya and Nikki picked up the win.

Bo Dallas vs Zack Ryder. Eh. Typical Bo Dallas match, he hits a few moves runs around the ring each time then Ryder takes advantage hit’s Bo with his signature and then as he goes for the Rough Ryder Bo reverses into his finisher and wins.

Triple threat tag team action now for the tag belts! Goldust and Stardust vs Rybaxel vs The Uso’s. Awesome match, a bunch of great moves and an interesting moment where Ryback and Curtis Axel started to argue and almost fought but ended up hugging in the ring. Uso’s picked up the win and celebrated with Stardust and Goldust.

Last match before intermission was Sheamus vs Alberto Del Rio for the United States title. Del Rio came out in crutches and cut a promo saying he can’t wrestle, as soon as Sheamus turns around Del Rio attacks him and the match would eventually start. I’d say to me this would be match of the night. A TON of back and forth action, fighting all over the arena. Match lasted well over 10 mins with Sheamus picking up the win.

After intermission the fans voted to have Fandango and Adam Rose in a dance contest. Fandango did his dance, as soon as Adam Rose started Fandango attacked him but Adam would reverse soon and hit his finisher on Fandango. Summer Rae and Layla came out and attacked Fandango, in a shocking turn of events Summer Rae and Layla had a “moment” to say after attacking Fandango, trying to keep it PG here but I’m sure you’ll see what I mean on you tube tomorrow morning.

Randy Orton vs Chris Jericho was next. I hate to say it but seeing people in my section reaction, they were bored when Orton was on offense. He must have been tired or something tonight but it’s whatever, a lot of people starting chanting headlock since that’s all he was doing, Chris Jericho picked up the win.

MAIN EVENT TIME:

Bray Wyatt vs John Cena

20 man lumberjack, Ric Flair came out with his team, Mark Henry and Great Khali were the only members on his team who did not wrestle. Triple H followed up next and Titus O Neil was the only member on his team who did not wrestle, then came out Bray and John. Pretty fun match, all the kids came prepared to cheer Cena. Mark Henry turned heel during the match when he caught Cena flying out of the ring onto him and slammed him into the ring post. The lumberjacks would fight in the middle of the ring since they kept attacking Cena during the match, they would end up brawling outside the ring leading Cena to jump on ALL of them somehow and then they just walked out to the back. Cena and Wyatt are back in the ring when Triple H pedigrees Cena out of no where, Ric Flair would then come in punch Bray, Ric must punch beyond hard because Bray was bleeding all over the side of his face. Cena won with the AA.

After the match Triple H got AA’D by Cena and then Cena would talk about Flair and handed him the world title.

Highest cheers

Cena

Chris Jericho

Nikki Bella(I’m serious, the crowd jumped for her)
