The new DVD is rated TV-14 and is hosted by Bash creator Dusty Rhodes. In full it contains twenty NWA/WCW matches, with 5 extra matches exclusive to the Blu-ray edition of the set, plus the host segment with Rhodes in between certain bouts. The total runtime of the DVD is just over 7 hours, while the total runtime of the Blu-ray with its extras comes in at 8 hours and 50 minutes.

Those twenty matches featured date between 1985 and the year 2000. The early Great American Bash matches on the set (disc 1 of the DVD version) are not available on the WWE Network, only here on this Home Video release. Take a look at the full list of selected matches at this link: http://wwene.ws/1jvYilS, or read an in-depth review of the DVD/Blu-ray here: http://wwene.ws/1kOCuOn. As you can tell, WWE’s more recent version of the Great American Bash PPV, brought back in 2004, is not covered, instead this release is kept to a WCW theme only.

Below you can watch two preview clips of the DVD/Bluray, and check out some screenshots too!
