Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been making tons of mainstream sports media rounds this week promoting the upcoming “Hercules” movie, and yesterday he appeared on Sports Nation with host Michelle Beadle.

You can check out Rock’s entire interview in the video player below, and the following are some highlights:

-The Rock confirmed rumors that he was originally supposed to begin a feud with Brock Lesnar the night after WrestleMania 29, however those plans fell through when he tore two pelvic tendons in his match against John Cena.

Creative plans would have seen Lesnar and The Rock co-main event WrestleMania 30 and possibly even have a rematch at WrestleMania 31.

-As for a WWE return, The Rock said he’d love to return to the ring, and he has been in talks with Vince McMahon about a possible return, but it’s a matter of finding an opponent for him that would have marquee value similar to John Cena or Brock Lesnar. Rock did mention Bray Wyatt and Roman Reigns as upcoming big stars in WWE.
