7/18 WWE Smackdown Results: Kane vs. Dean Ambrose & More on the Battleground Go-Home Show

Chris Jericho is out next, about to make his in-ring return to WWE Smackdown. He’s got a pretty nasty bruise on the left side of his face from the beatdown at the hands of the Wyatt Family.

-Bray Wyatt comes out and sits in his rocking chair. He tells Jericho not to worry about “saving us”, because he should be worried about saving himself this Sunday at Battleground.

Chris Jericho vs. Luke Harper

Harper goes right on the attack, planting Jericho in the corner with right hands and kicks. Jericho fights back with an Irish whip to the corner and hits a few mounted punches, but Harper takes a shot to the injured eye and connects with a suplex off the second rope. He does the slingshot spot into the bottom rope, and Jericho rolls to the outside holding his neck. After a few minutes of continued beatdown, Y2J springboards to the top rope and takes down Harper with a double ax handle. He goes for the Walls of Jericho, but Luke rolls out of it, only to get caught with an enzuigiri. Crossbody off the second rope connects for a two-count. Both guys get to their feet and Harper tries for a corner splash, but Jericho side-steps him and hits the Lionsault! He tries for the Codebreaker, but Harper counters with a powerbomb. The Walls of Jericho gets locked in off a reversal, but Rowan hits the ring – Y2J with a dropkick that sends him to the floor. A quick roll-up on Harper and Jericho gets the win.

Winner: Chris Jericho

-The Wyatt Family attacks Jericho 3-on-1 after the match, but the Usos make the save. The babyfaces fight off the Family, who bails to the outside and retreats up the ramp. Bray is furious, knocking over his chair.
