Rusev (w/ Lana) vs Jack Swagger (w/ Zeb Colter)

Lana cuts another anti-American promo and Zeb tries to tell her off, but Lana slaps him and Swagger and Rusev start to slug it out. Swagger knocks Rusev outside, then Rusev regroups and gets back in as the bell rings. Swagger goes for a Patriot Lock but Rusev rolls away, then he kicks Swagger in the corner and charges the corner. Swagger ducks and goes for another Patriot Lock, but Rusev rolls outside so Swagger slams him into the apron and rolls him back in. Swagger splashes him in the corner and hits the ropes, but Rusev hits a diving crossbody before hitting a fallaway slam.

Swagger comes back with a slam and Swagger Bomb for two, then he powerslams Rusev for another near fall before going for a Patriot Lock. Rusev kicks him away and sends him to the apron, then he knees him and calls for a thrust kick, but Swagger counters with a Patriot Lock. Rusev struggles to break it but Swagger pulls him back in the ring, then Rusev fights through the pain and finally crawls to the ropes before falling outside. Swagger immediately goes after him and reapplies the Patriot Lock on the steps, but Rusev pulls him into the steps and slams his head off of them, and beats the ten count back inside. Rusev regains his composure before celebrating, then he stomps Swagger’s back and puts him in the Accolade.

Winner – Rusev

BP: I’m OK with the countout win even if it was anticlimactic. It showed vulnerability on Rusev’s part, which he haven’t seen before. Swagger looked really dominant here, and Rusev gets more heat with the Lana promo, the match and the attack.

Seth Rollins comes out and says since his opponent was irresponsible and got himeslf kicked out of the building, he is accepting his victory by forfeit. Rollins says they should get this over with and name him the winner, then Justin Roberts names him winner by forfeit. He taunts the crowd and waves his briefcase around, then leaves, and the commentary team start a recap as the fans start cheering. We cut to Dean Ambrose attacking Rollins on the stage, then he fights him into the crowd and slams his face into the guardrail. Rollins kicks Ambrose and leaps on the barricade, but Ambrose grabs him by the hair and whips him onto the Spanish announce table. Ambrose hits him a few more times before security pulls him away, but Ambrose tackles him again and gets in a few more shots for good measure. Triple H finally comes out and pulls the referees away from Ambrose, and he shoves Ambrose back and tells security to drag Ambrose out of there. Rollins runs around the other side and dives on Ambrose and security, then they are finally separated for good and they Ambrose is dragged out of the arena.

BP: Good use of time since Rollins’ injury kept him out of a formal match. He took a few big bumps here, but it just furthered the feud. Looking forward to wherever they go with this.
