Changes Made to Main Event
Monday night on WWE Raw, United States Champion Sheamus was advertised to compete in a match against Rusev tonight on Main Event. Obviously if you saw the show – or followed along with our exclusive live coverage – that match did not take place, in favor of a Battleground rematch with Jack Swagger.
There was talk of moving away from the Swagger/Rusev program completely, following a lot of bad press coming off Lana’s controversial WWE Battleground promo, but it appears WWE has decided to continue forward with the feud.
Big Matches for Smackdown
Two big matches have been made for this week’s edition of WWE Smackdown. Dean Ambrose will face Cesaro in a Raw Rematch, however this time they will compete with no disqualifications. Roman Reigns will also be in action against former WWE Champion Alberto del Rio.
