The Reno-Gazette Journal recently published an article mentioning University of Nevada football player Brock Hekking was offered a WWE contract in 2013, after the Wolfpack’s season had concluded.

Hekking’s high school friend, Clayton Jack, signed a deal with WWE in January as mentioned by Jim Ross, and Hekking said Jack should be debuting anytime (assuming it will be in NXT) as “The Mythical Beast.”

Hekking said he was also offered a deal, and Jack encouraged him to sign, but he ultimately turned it down to play his senior season at Nevada. Hekking said he could make a lot of money wrestling, but it will be his ‘Plan B’.

Kevin Steen responded to WWE Hall of Famer Jerry “The King” Lawler‘s recently posted video promo, which not only showed Lawler making a challenge, but confirmed Steen will be headed to WWE.

Steen will face Lawler on August 2nd at Northeast Wrestling’s “Wrestling Under The Stars III” event in a Piledriver vs Piledriver match. You can view Steen’s response in the player below:
