As we reported last week, a WWE tryout camp was held in Melbourne, Australia, during WWE’s recent live event tour of the country.
According to The Wrestling Observer, over 40 wrestlers attended the WWE tryout camp, which took place on August 6th and 7th.
Bill DeMott ran the tryout camp, which was attended by wrestlers from all over Australia and New Zealand, and also featured two women, one of which blew out her knee during the camp.
Day one of the tryout camp was to evaluate the talents’ conditioning, while day two assessed the talents’ promo skills, ring drill skills, and matches were also evaluated.
The next WWE tryout camp will be held at the Performance Center in September, and several top indy stars have been invited to attend the camp.
