Episode 237, segment 2 of 4, 9:54 in length and is filmed at Point Park University. Why Dolph Ziggler won’t win the IC title and more SummerSlam undercard predictions.
Even though Jack Swagger is trending up in the roster, Rusev will win this match. Despite the fact you cannot win this match by pinfall, having Swagger win does nothing for the big picture. Rusev locks the accolade on Swagger until he is out cold, grabs the Russian flag and the Russian stands tall. Zeb and Lana will both play a major role in the match.
Paige’s character has shown the most development since she turned heel a few weeks back. That does not guarantee anything versus AJ Lee. AJ wins this match by DQ setting up a rematch at Night of Champions. Giving the title to Paige at this point does nothing since there are no true face contenders outside of AJ for the Divas Title.
This match could steal the show if it is not put on the pre-show. It is way, way too early for The Miz to drop the IC Title. Plus, he is in Hollywood. Expect some kind of traumatic entrance for Miz as he continues to lives up to his Hollywood Miz persona. Ziggler will impress the only way he can in this match in defeat. These two could meet again at Night of Champions if another face contender does not emerge.
With what we expected to be a street fight or a match for the briefcase, Ambrose versus Rollins ended up being a lackluster lumberjack match. Do not be surprised if The Authority inserts all heel lumberjacks into this match. That would be the only way this match selection makes sense. Ambrose wins this match after a fury of action that sets up a match at Night of Champions for the Money in the Bank contract.
