News on Dean Ambrose Taking Time To Film Movie, The Shield Special on WWE Network, No Post-Show SummerSlam Scheduled

Dean Ambrose Taking Time Off

F4WOnline.com is reporting that Dean Ambrose will be missing some television shows for WWE when he begins to film WWE Studios action movie “Lockdown.” Filming for the movie is scheduled to be at the end of the month. Since it is a WWE Films movie, he will be able to get certain dates off from filming so he can continue his feud with Seth Rollins.

WWE Network announced that it will be airing “Journey to SummerSlam.” The special will feature Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns and will air on Wednesday at 8pm EST. The synopsis reads like this:

“Witness the journeys of Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns- from their humble beginnings to the biggest event of the summer.”

No Post WWE SummerSlam Show

There is not a SummerSlam post-show scheduled after the big event this Sunday. The WWE Network schedule says that it will have a “SummerSlam Backstage Pass” that will air on Monday night right after WWE Raw goes off the air.

Isenberg: It is surprising that WWE is not planning on having a SummerSlam post-show, since it is the second biggest Pay-Per-View of the year. Without the post-show, WWE is planning on airing the replay at 11pm EST.

Josh controls most of the creative writing and ideas for the show on a weekly basis, as well as an on-air talent.

His life outside of his obsession with wrestling include being a savant for Seinfeld, NFL, NBA, MLB and many television shows. He also has an undying love for musicals, which includes many shows he was a part of in high school. Some of his favorite wrestling moments can be linked to such superstars as Edge, The Rock, Bret Hart, Shawn Michaels and The Great Khali.
