According to F4WOnline.com, despite TNA announcing Impact Wrestling will be moving to Wednesday nights beginning next week, the company has not re-signed a new deal with SpikeTV.
The move to Wednesdays was made because of mounting competition from the NFL on Thursday nights, as well as the likely Smackdown move from Fridays to Thursdays. The Impact move was not made as a result of a new deal being worked out between TNA and SpikeTV.
Another cause for concern in TNA lately is the lack of TV hype for the Bound for Glory PPV taking place on October 12th in Tokyo, Japan. There has been no mention of the event on TV recently, no hype for the event in Japan, and there were little to no references made to BFG during the recent Impact tapings in New York City.
Many TNA employees are in the dark as it pertains to Bound for Glory details.
