At this year’s Gamescom in Germany, a demo of WWE 2K15 was playable, and the following are a few noteworthy points:
-It was a demo, but many fans said it was filled with glitches and many gamers noted once they played it the “hype was gone” for them.
-CM Punk wouldn’t let 2K scan him once he left WWE so his model looks very different from the others (most said it was terrible in comparison).
-2K sports confirmed current Hulk Hogan and Hollywood Hulk Hogan (NWO) are exclusive to the next gen systems. PS3 and Xbox360 will not receive them later as DLC.
-2K was asked why there was no trailer yet and they hinted WWE won’t let them release one until the new WWE logo is in place. The old WWE logo in the demo was a placeholder as the logo in the game will be up to date.
-A 2K employee (verified) noted on reddit that the game was proving troublesome and that it is not yet completed. In the past the latest a WWF/E game by THQ was completed and went gold was September 1, and that was WWE ’12 which has worried some fans of the series.
-2K hinted to the Gamescom crowd that the legends who couldn’t be scanned (deceased) would not be in WWE 2K15, but may start appearing again in next year’s version.
