More on San Jose Fans Live Event Fans Upset with WM31 Pre-Sale
As we previously reported, fans who attended the San Jose WWE live event, which took place the night before SummerSlam, were told an exclusive pre-sale code would be given out to the live crowd for a chance to buy WrestleMania 31 tickets before the general public on-sale date.
This announcement, according to The Wrestling Observer, created a major buzz outside the arena before the show started, as many fans went to the San Jose event just to get a chance to buy WrestleMania tickets.
Officials at information booths in the arena were telling people to keep an eye out for a WrestleMania 31 ticket booth, which would be giving away the pre-sale code, however, ring announcer Eden made a different announcement. She told the live crowd they would be getting an email from Ticketmaster containing the pre-sale code, but did not reveal when the email would be sent out.
This angered many fans as they knew once the email was actually sent out the pre-sale code would be leaked on the internet.
