Update on WrestleMania 31 Pre-Sale Situation

As we reported yesterday, there was much confusion and anger amongst fans at how the WrestleMania 31 pre-sale code would be distributed at the San Jose live event prior to SummerSlam.

Many fans were upset that the pre-sale code leaked online prior to the pre-sale actually getting underway, as it gave fans who did not attend the San Jose show the same opportunity to buy advance tickets as any other fan.

WZ reader Alan Lopez, who attended the San Jose live event, sent in the following clarification:

To clear up the issue about the the Wrestlemania 31 pre-sale code, I don’t think everyone really understood Eden’s announcement. She gave us the password, which is “sanjose.” She then said ticketmaster would send us an e-mail letting us know when the pre-sale will take place. By the time people got home, the pre-sale code had leaked online, but only those who attended the event will be notified when the actual pre-sale will begin.
