Report: Bully Ray Likely Returning for Impact Tapings and Bound for Glory

bully rayWhile Bully Ray did not re-sign a new contract with TNA Wrestling, according to a new report from the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, that doesn’t mean we’ve seen the last of him on Impact Wrestling.

Bully is in the midst of a “Best Of” series with The Wolves and the Hardyz over the TNA World Tag Team Championships, not to mention that he and Devon are scheduled to be inducted into the TNA Hall of Fame at this year’s Bound for Glory PPV.

The current feeling is that Bully will be at the next set of Impact Wrestling tapings to continue the series, but at this point it’s unknown if he’s looking to sign a new deal, or just working with the company on a per-appearance basis until Bound for Glory. Dave Meltzer noted that his old deal wasn’t at the level of Hulk Hogan or AJ Styles, so it could be that he’s just trying to position himself for more money, as he’s currently the best agent the company has working backstage, a locker room leader, and has become a major main event player in the last few years.
