WWE Interested in Top ROH Talent

WWE has recently sent feelers out to contracted Ring of Honor talent Adam Cole.

Interesting WWE PPV Main Event DQ Statistic

Prior to the main event of this year’s Night of Champions PPV ending in a DQ, the last time a WWE PPV main event ended in a disqualification was at Bragging Rights back in 2010. The match featured Randy Orton vs Wade Barrett.

Paglino: This stat is particularly interesting considering people complain about too many screwy finishes on PPV, especially DQ finishes, and it’s been 4 year since one has actually taken place prior to this past Sunday night.

As a I stated in the Night of Champions roundtable show last week, I think WWE can get away with the DQ finish more in the $9.99 era than they could when the PPV asking price was nearly 60 bucks a month. This of course doesn’t mean I want to see an overuse of the DQ finish as it’s not entirely creative, but at the same time you can’t really complain you’re being “ripped off” when you’re only paying 10 bucks a month for all the Network content.
