According to Wrestling Observer Radio, WWE has begun discussing ideas for next month’s Hell in a Cell PPV, and although nothing has been officially announced, WWE is currently planning three top matches with two of them taking place inside Hell in a Cell.
The current plan is to have Hell in a Cell start with John Cena vs Dean Ambrose in the opening match, with the winner of that match facing Seth Rollins inside the cell later in the night. The loser of the Cena vs Ambrose match would then face Randy Orton, also inside the cell, later in the PPV.
As we noted earlier today, WWE World Champion Brock Lesnar is not expected to appear at Hell in a Cell this year.
Paglino: I really like this booking idea. It keeps guys like John Cena and Randy Orton in the mix, but could also end up giving us John Cena vs Seth Rollins and Randy Orton vs Dean Ambrose inside Hell in a Cell, which is fresh booking for all four names.
